“ This building has significance to my family and so it was on my list as I was driving through. It's an old school house and when you walk in there is a Buffett like table. You seat yourself, waitress comes to you and sends you in your way. I asked for all "southern suggestions" and her suggestions were spot on! I had squash casserole, collard greens, fried chicken, cheesy grits and pecan pie. Such kind folks and an overall amazing food with a taste of my southern roots. ”

“ Whoa! Best REAL Country Cooking I've had in a long time. I've been meaning to stop here for a long time but always thought I was in too big a hurry ... it's a few minutes off the highway. Next time I will leave early or get where I'm going late. So worth the stop. If you haven't tried Southern Cooking here's the perfect place to start!. If you're from the South and miss your Grandmother and Mom's cooking this is your place. The food is Great, the old school house is the real thing. I forgot about a time when our Presidents pictures were all around the top of the walls around the room. Nice piece of Americana and Awesome Southern Food. I'll be back! ”
